EarthTronics 12 watt LED, LPD12M/G24d/830V easily replaces 8 and 26 watt G24d base compact fluorescent lamps and provides 33% energy savings. This plug-in lamp design is primarily for downlight use and is built to be used vertically within downlight fixtures where the plug-in lamp socket is mounted at the top of the fixture. All light is emitted from the end of the lamp in a downlight pattern providing for maximum fixture efficiency. This lamp produces 1100 lumens and works directly on existing 18 and 26 watt compact fluorescent magnetic ballast. No rewiring necessary. Instant on, no warm up time and a long service life make this lamp an easy choice in many applications. Available colors include 3000K, 4000K and 5000K and the CRI rating is >80. The lamp may be used in any orientation in open fixtures. The 50,000 hour rated life provides 5 times the service life of a typical compact fluorescent lamp. Not for use in enclosed fixtures. This 2-pin lamp may also be used on 120VAC line voltage to eliminate any ballast losses for increased efficiency.
