Illuminate the Holiday Season with LED Christmas Lights

Illuminate the Holiday Season with LED Christmas Lights

Illuminate the Holiday Season with LED Christmas Lights

Not sure if you can tell, but we really like electricity. As a manufacturer and distributor of durable, long-lasting LED EarthBulbs, that makes sense, right? And even though we don’t produce an EarthTronics line of Christmas lighting options (yet), oh, how we love them. Especially the LED ones.

With the holidays on our doorstep, it’s time to make the rest of your house shine bright. Channel your inner Clark Griswold and let your creativity flow using high quality, LED Christmas lights. Here’s why.

LEDs should be your Christmas bulb of choice.

LED Christmas lights use light emitting diodes instead of filaments to produce light. More efficient, more durable, and longer-lasting than incandescent lights, LEDs are quickly becoming the best option for your outdoor lighting bonanza. They don’t burn out as quickly as other bulbs and never “feel” hot; a safety win as well.

LED Christmas lights are a reliable, energy-saving alternative.

With incandescent bulbs, a full 90% of their energy is released as heat, which is why they get so hot. LEDs are a different story. They use up to 75% less energy and last 25 times longer!

If an LED bulb in the string fails, the rest of the string should remain working. That means you don’t have to fuss with replacing bulbs and fuses, otherwise known as a huge maintenance reduction. Just plug them in and they’ll light up reliably year after year.

Let’s add a few more reasons to the list.

Since LED Christmas lights don’t get hot, they’re safe to use for interior decorations such as around Christmas trees, on wreaths, and woven with garlands. Plus, LED bulbs are typically made of lightweight plastic and are less likely to break than glass incandescent bulbs, so you don’t have to spend a bunch of time wrapping them to prevent bulb breakage when packing up holiday décor.

LED light strings often feature more bulbs per string. More bang for your buck!

As LED lighting has advanced, so have Christmas lights. You can choose virtually any kind of strand, bulb style, or color with LED capability. The blue-light only choice is a thing of the past, and LED bulbs now come in a variety of colorful hues, helping make your holiday lighting scheme sparkle. A string of LEDs costs about twice as much as same-sized incandescent bulbs, but because LEDs are so long-lasting, the price difference is erased after two to three years of use. Take the plunge this year and invest in some quality LED Christmas lights.
