What an incredible event LightFair 2017 was! Back in Philly and on the East Coast, this year’s LightFair allowed us to reconnect and see so many people, including customers we aren’t usually able to see.
By focusing on positive impact, personal service, and reliable products, EarthTronics continues to build a team that can envision a better and brighter future. Seeing some of our customers that we don’t always get a chance to interact with was a great experience for us.
“We had the opportunity to talk with several key media representatives at the show. We really respect and value our relationships with the industry leading press and all their representatives,” said Kevin Youngquist, Executive Vice President of EarthTronics. “We work hard to maintain those relationships, and make sure we provide them with information they need to keep current with what EarthTronics is doing and how it fits into the lighting industry.”
Of course, we were thrilled to see our sales reps and distributors at LightFair this year as well. As a company, EarthTronics has continued to bring competitive products to market to better serve our customers, and their users. Our sales reps kept circling back to our booth, and it was exhilarating to see them and their pride in working with us at such a high caliber event.
LED Lighting Industry Trends We See
“When it comes to product trends, we’re noticing applications and installations are becoming more and more critical. The ease of installation is what makes contractors love our products,” said Kevin. “We’ve been dedicated to developing products that have the energy efficiency the industry demands and installation ease contractors desire.”
The LED fixture trends focus on great functionality and high quality, which are a given. Adding an easy installation process will make your products much more sought after. Kevin says, “With our adjustable wall packs, it’s a similar story. They’re well built, contractor friendly, and easy to install.” At EarthTronics, we pay attention to the details, and we spend a lot of time talking to our team about them.
The Future is So Bright
Our predictions for the future after LightFair include a renewed focus on efficiency. With the race to low cost came a downhill fall that sometimes-overlooked quality and efficiency for lower priced products. Now, manufacturers are focusing more on product performance and key certifications, such as DLC, that focus more on quality and efficiency. “For EarthTronics, we want to provide a product with lots of horsepower and high miles per gallon; lots of good light and energy efficiency.”
